Up a flight of stairs, this room is named after Shyam, the Krishna avatar – the eighth of the ten incarnations of Vishnu, from which Darwin possibly drew inspiration for his Evolution of Man theory. The two double windows go up to the ceiling and overlook the jungle of trees and shrubs of the aravallis where peacocks come and dance. Pleasently arranged with white furniture and red textiles, it lies in the quiet back portion of the fort.
