As suggested by its name The Old Bungalow is the oldest structure in Ramgarh, dating back to 1900 CE. It was used as a Dak Bungalow for the posts and as a night halt for British officers who came for inspection on horseback with their ladies carried on dandi palanquins.
The Kumaon Suite situated on the north of The Old Bungalow is a large space in the rusts of autumn with two large single beds facing a fireplace. These rooms in Nainital offer you the view of the green mountains and a really wide verandah lets you enjoy the outdoors. The Mustard Room is an ante-room with two singles and a small fireplace. The art shows the flowers of the region. Two bathrooms make it ideal for a family. The room has access from the front and the back both – giving the residents of the ante-room independence to come and go as they please.
