Romi Mahal

Romi Mahal, is located on the first floor of the Tope Mahal ramparts, built for cannon fire. An intimate room with great views, it honours the fine eye of Romi Chopra known for his refined Indian aesthetics and a career in advertising which worked on giving India its Mera Bharat Mahan campaign. With unique, block printed curtains and delicate Indian miniatures, its centrepiece is a pastel portrait of Romi and his brother Anish, done by a Russian princess during the distinguished diplomatic career of his father. A romantic double bed, a narcissistic full-mirror almirah, and an Art Deco seating compliment a red and white floor with gypsy rugs from the Middle East.
An all-white bathroom within the room, makes it compact and functional. It has a charming private seating overlooking the palm gardens and a red sandstone balcony to take in the winter sun.
