Mrig Mahal (Palace of the Deer)

A tiny room, tucked between two floors of palaces is named Mrig Mahal after the ‘deer’ which once flocked the hill visible from its little windows. It hangs two paintings by well-known contemporary Indian painters Vasudevan Akkitham and Anandajit Ray. Ideal for a single person on a budget.
